Compiled with love by Sean Bohrman for Classic Trash

Bubblegum music is my favorite kind of music :-) It's some of the most catchy tunes of all time made by some of the most talented musicians of the day (sometimes posing as Saturday morning cartoon characters). One of the things I love most about bubblegum music is that it was only around for a handful of years (in its truest form) and there's a seemingly endless supply of songs from all sorts of crazy bands from all over the world. In my most bubblegum frenzied time I was trying to find anything I could that fit the bubblegum mold but it baffled me that most compilations out there featured only the big names in the genre like Ohio Express, 1910 Fruitgum Company and The Archies. Not to say the there's anything wrong with those bands - I had to stop listening to 1910's first album "Goody Goody Gumdrops" because I couldn't sleep with the songs stuck in my head - they're some of the best in the game but I needed more! Luckily, back in the 90s/00s another bubblegum super fan (maybe THEE most super of fans) made compilations of the most incredible, obscure and rare bubblegum music known to mankind called BUBBLEGUM MOTHERFUCKER. In total there's 1,399 songs across 52 volumes and in my spare time I've gone through each and every track to present my most painstakingly picked favorites! This is just a very tiny taste of all of the bubblegum goodness out there, so below is a link to volumes 1-40 so you can find your own new favorites! Enjoy!
